Casa entre árboles se conceptualiza como una conjugación de escenarios con diferentes características que te sorprenden mientras recorres la casa descubriendo la naturaleza
En un terreno con grandes árboles se busca habitar en proximidad a la naturaleza, que
esta sea parte característica de la arquitectura y que se la habite al igual que al objeto
construido.
Respetando los árboles y arbustos del terreno, se define un recorrido modular al que se le
acoplan diferentes espacios habitables. El espacio social se abre hacia el recorrido y a la
proyección de visuales de la naturaleza y se cierra hacia la calle, los privados se cierran
hacia el recorrido y se vuelven retraídos.
Como condicionante cada espacio construido tiene relación visual y conexión física
directa con al menos un espacio natural. Mientras el recorrido define claramente el patio
central de la casa como semi-privado, los espacios habitables le imprimen su carácter a
los patios que contienen.
En espacios que necesitan privacidad como dormitorios y baños, el carácter es
introvertido. Sus patios se delimitan por fachadas portantes rellenas con bahareque y por
muros, que separados de los espacios habitables, aseguran privacidad y conexión directa
con la naturaleza.
En espacios destinados a actividades sociales como cocina, comedor y sala, el carácter
es extrovertido. Los patios se delimitan por fachadas portantes rellenas de vidrios,
ventanas y puertas que aseguran permeabilidad visual hacia el objeto construido y por los
linderos del terreno.
Las fachadas portantes combinan la noción de estructura con la de bastidor.
Prefabricando con madera sólida un solo tipo de columna mínima en forma de cruz que se
repite en módulos de 1,22m y se unen entre sí en sus tercios, conformamos fachadas
portantes que aseguran estabilidad estructural y resultan en vanos con dimensiones
adecuadas para anclar vidrios, ventanas, puertas y bahareques según lo que el carácter
del objeto construido imponga.

"Casa Entre Arboles" is conceptualized as a conjugation of scenarios with different
features that surprise you while you walk around the house discovering pre-existing nature
In a plot with large trees, the client sought to live in proximity to nature, that it must become a characteristic part of the architecture and that it gets inhabited as well as the built object.
Respecting the trees and shrubs of the land, a modular path, in wich diferent living spaces connect between themselves, is defined. The social spaces opens to the path and to the visual projection of nature and closes towards the street, the private ones closes towards the path and become completely withdrawn.
As condition, each constructed space has a visual relationship and a direct physical connection with at least one natural space. While the path clearly defines the central garden of the house as semi-private, the living spaces give their own character to their gardens.
In spaces in need of privacy such as bedrooms and bathrooms, the character is introverted. Its gardens are delimited by load-bearing facades filled with bahareque and by exterior walls, which separated from living spaces, ensure privacy and direct connection with nature.
In spaces intended for social activities such as kitchen, dining room and living room, the character is extroverted. The gardens are delimited by glass-filled load-bearing facades, windows and doors that ensure visual permeability towards the constructed object and by the plot boundaries.
The load-bearing facades combine the notion of structure with that of frame. Prefabricating with solid wood a single type of minimal cross-shaped column, repeating it in 1.22m modules and joining them together in their thirds, we create load-bearing facades that ensure structural stability and result in spans with dimensions suitable for anchoring glass, windows, doors and bahareques according to what the character of the built object impose.
